Danielle M. Campbell
Danielle M. Campbell, MPH received a BS in Public Health from the University of California, Irvine and an MPH from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Danielle is a Commissioner to the Los Angeles County Commission on HIV. She also serves as Governing Councilor to the HIV/ AIDS Section and Science Board of the American Public Health Association.
The focus of Danielle’s work has been examining health equity and the influence of systems of power on the production of health disparities among people living with HIV/ AIDS (PlwHA). As such, Danielle dedicates her energy to serving as a community scientific representative for a global HIV/ AIDS research network, as a volunteer HIV tester/ counselor aboard a mobile testing unit, as an educator and promoter of positive sexual health as the chairwoman of the Los Angeles Women’s HIV/ AIDS Task Force.
As a community organizer for HIV/ AIDS awareness policies and campaigns, Danielle serves as a Commissioner appointed to the Los Angeles County Commission on HIV. She is also an elected member Governing Councilor to the HIV/ AIDS Section, and Science Board Member of the American Public Health Association.
